SAE/EC Clan Announcement Board

Yeah, it's different from shadow's. Mine is a recollection of the things I know went down in this clan, but in the form of an actual story. Like it's own world (naruto world of course) and we're all ninja. Our wars are actual wars and stuff like that. None the less, it still goes by what happened for real.

BATTLE 1: The Beginning
Epilogue
The date is 500 years after the original Naruto storyline. Being a ninja has become more of a sport or martial arts since the world is a lot more peaceful now. Technology has developed far enough to keep relations between nations intact. It was all possible after Akatsuki was finally defeated, with Madara and Sasuke along with it. The Uchiha bloodline was dwindling, but began to increase as Sasuke had a son. Everything took off from there. That boy was raised to become the 8th hokage, bringing honor back to the Uchiha name. Now, no one is afraid of them. The descendant of these great ninja is now extremely bored and decides to make his own organization. Let’s see how it turns out over the next few chapters…

“Oh man. That sucked,” The boy said to himself as he was walking down the streets of New Konoha. “I guess I’ll have to make my own group if I want to get it done.” The boy put on his black cloak and turned to the Clan registration building. It was located right next to the hokage’s office. When he arrived, a burly man talked to him. “In order to make your clan, you have to be at least 13.” “I am 13,” he replied. “Name?” “Shadow Uchiha.” The man backed up a bit. “So you’re one of those revived Uchihas huh?” He asked in amazement. “Sure am,” Shadow replied. “The name will be… Shadow Avengers.” The man wrote it down and handed Shadow an id card. Shadow walked out of the building to see the mountain of hokages lined up. He looked at Naruto Uzumaki. His family had a long line of hokages after himself. Shadow smirked. He had researched Naruto’s history with his own ancestor, Sasuke Uchiha. “Time to go recruiting!” Shadow exclaimed as he ran out into the streets.

Shadow had put up fliers for his new organization, Shadow Avengers. He knew there was a low chance that he would get many members at first: there were many more popular organizations out there already. After a few hours of work, he sat down on top of hokage statue. “Phew,” he sighed, “That was a lot of work.” He began looking around. “I’ll need a base of operations though. Guess I’ll go ask FW for help.” Shadow jumped off of the mountain, jumping down to the base. He then walked to the outer regions of the village.

“Hey Shadow!” An older guy with blonde hair greeted him. “Hey Cloud, J, Alch, DD,” Shadow greeted back. “So I here you decided to make your own organization?” Alch asked him. “Well yeah. I need some help with building the base though.” J stood up. “Well, you should probably do that part with a partner or something. Like a co-leader." “Alright. By the way, where are Hinata and Shay?” Shadow asked them. “Out shopping.” DD replied. Shadow shrugged, “So I’m going to go out and buy the materials…” “Hold up!” A large yell came from the back rooms, then a blonde and orange blur appeared out of nowhere. He tackled Shadow. “What the hell Naru!” Shadow yelled at him back. “You can’t leave ‘fore saying hi to me.” Shadow sighed and pushed Naru off of him. “Alright then, hey.” Shadow then walked out for the materials.

While Shadow was out, a kid came up to him. "Hey," he told him. "Hi?" Shadow replied back. The guy started up again, "I saw one of your fliers and wanted to know if you'd like some help?" Shadow's eyes opened wide. "Sure! What's your name?" "It's Jax. Hayate Jax." "Alright Jax, lets build up this group together." They did a handshake and left together.

After a few days, the base had been built. “Great!” Shadow proclaimed. “I’ll work on the specific clan stuff later, for now, this is good.” Jax patted him on the back, “Yeah, it looks good. I bet we'll do well in competitions.” Shadow had an arrogant grin on his face. “Of course I’ll do well. My clan will only take the best!” Jax started laughing, then finally walked inside of the base. Shadow was inside moving stuff around. “And this’ll go here, and that’ll go there…” A knock was heard on the door. “Yeah, come in.” A guy walked in eating some chicken. “Yeah, I’d like to join.” He told Shadow. A few others followed him in, and so this where the start of Shadow’s adventures began.

BATTLE 2: The Cyborg Ninja

It had been about a month since SA had been made. Afterwards, another boy came looking to join. He knocked on the door the base. “Damn, I hope this one is better than the others…” he told himself. Shadow opened the door to look at the boy. He had dark blonde hair, long jean shorts, a sleeveless shirt, and some high tech gloves. “Oh, you must be Taizen!” He asked him. Taizen nodded his head. “Well, lets get you on that test right now. It’ll be Chris first, then me. We’ll judge if you’re good enough to join.” “Sounds fair,” Taizen replied. They both walked inside of the base to a coliseum like place in the back of it. “Alright, do whatever you need to prepare.” Shadow told him. “’Kay.” Taizen told him as he walked to a corner of the coliseum. He took out a scanner and ran it over his body, and a green light came up. “I’m good then.” Shadow came out a few minutes later, “Ready?” “Yeah I am,” Taizen replied. “Then lets get this started.”

Everyone in the organization filled up the seats, watching him. Shadow took a seat that looked sort of like a king’s chair. “Ready Chris?” Shadow asked him. “Yep, I’m ready to kick some ass here.” He clenched his fists and cracked his knuckles. Taizen was unmoved. Chris looked down on him, as he was much larger. “What’s the matter kid?” he questioned him, “Shakin’ in ya boots?” Taizen had an expressionless face when he looked at Chris. “This won’t take long.” He told him. It looks like a vein in Chris’s head began to show, as he was one of the strongest in the clan. He punched at Taizen. Taizen’s eyes began analyzing something, then he put his hand out and stopped Chris in his tracks. “Wha…” he wondered out loud. “Raito Shot,” Taizen said as a large bolt of electricity surged from his hand into Chris. Chris took the shock and backed up. “What the hell? No one’s been able to stop my punch like that!” he exclaimed. Shadow sat on the edge of his seat, as he was enjoying it. “It’s not that hard, I don’t understand why no one could.” Chris made hand signs and created a sword of ice. He ran at Taizen to slash him, but failed miserably. Taizen used a step in with amazing speed, and calmly spoke, “Time Stop.” Chris felt as if Time stopped for him, while Taizen moved behind him. When Chris regained control of himself, Taizen had his hand on Chris’s back. “Huh? How’d you get there?!” he began to panic. “Bakuso Foruso.” A large bolt of lightning came down on top of Chris, knocking him out on the spot. Everyone began clapping, and Shadow stood up. “This’ll be fun.”

Everyone grew silent as Shadow leaped down from his seat. “Alright, you ready?” Shadow asked Taizen. “As I’ll ever be.” Shadow made a hand sign, but nothing happened. Taizen was beginning to look confused, until he felt the rumbling underneath him. A large fire pillar erupted from the ground, nearly hitting Taizen. “Well that was close.” Taizen said. “Not as close as this.” Taizen turned around to see Shadow behind him. Shadow used the Fireball jutsu, creating a very large one at close range. It was impossible for Taizen to dodge completely, so he sidestepped, allowing his arm to get hit. “Oh,” Shadow told him, “Allowing your arm to get hit will get your points docked.” Taizen made hand signs of his own and extended his arm out, “Mari Shaiden!” A blue bolt of lightning erupted from Taizen’s hand, and Shadow avoided it with ease. While dodging, he threw shuriken at Taizen. There were wires attached, so when Taizen dodged, he got caught up in it. He noticed it quickly though. “You really think a cheap trick like this will stop me?” Shadow finished making hand signals, using his Ryu Flame jutsu. The fire shot at Taizen with incredible speed. Taizen just barely managed to get out of it, but the flame blast hit the entire right side of his body. He fell back, burning. “Say, you alright?” Shadow paused when he saw what was under the flames. Taizen’s entire right arm was mechanical. “Huh?” Shadow pondered. “Why is your arm…” “Personal preference.” Taizen pushed his arm out and the metal engravings began to glow. “Time Stop.” He said as he snapped his hand right in front of Shadow’s face. Shadow stood there like he was frozen, allowing Taizen time to make his hand signals. When Shadow recovered, Taizen’s hand was charged with lightning. He thrust forward; sure he would hit Shadow and win. However, he forgot Shadow is an Uchiha. Shadow quickly activated his sharingan and dodged the attack. He took advantage of Taizen’s flowing momentum to hit him in the jaw and knock him out.

When Taizen awoke, he was in the infirmary. “I guess this means I lost,” he said to himself. He packed his bag and began to walk outside. Chris came and caught him. “What are you doing?” he asked him, “We just got a room made for you.” Taizen was confused. “But I lost. Doesn’t that mean I didn’t make it?” Shadow walked in on the conversation, “No one here has actually beaten me, or I wouldn’t be the leader.” Shadow laughed a bit. “You were scored based on how you fight, and you passed. Congrats, you are now a part of the Shadow Avengers. Taizen jumped in the air, filled with joy he had actually made it. This seems like it would be the guild he’d stay with for a while. A long while. He made himself at home, fixing up his room, and downstairs people were training, watching T.V., playing games, and other stuff. “Yeah, looks like a pretty good place to me,” he said as he walked down to join them.

BATTLE 3: Kyuubi Demons

Shadow got up and yawned. He walked outside of his room and went downstairs to see someone in the kitchen. “Huh?” he wondered silently, “No one should be up at this hour.” He creaked the door in and there was a guy sitting there eating a burger. “What? Is that you old man?” Shadow asked him. The guy fell back in his chair. “Shadow?” he asked him. “Old man, come on. You shouldn’t be scarfing our food like this.” Shadow leaned over to help him up. “Damn it, I’m not old. I’m only 16,” he replied, peeved. “That’s older than anyone else here,” Shadow told him, laughing. “Well it’s almost time Lee. I’ve got to introduce you to the new members.” “Eh, why not.” They walked out into the front.

Taizen and a few other members came down about an hour later. Taizen yawned and walked down to the kitchen with his stomach growling. “Hey,” Lee called to him, “Haven’t seen you here. You must be the new member Shadow was talking about.” Taizen looked over to find Lee; he instantly backed up into a fighting stance. “Who are you?” he questioned. “I’m Lee. I’ve been here since before you, just gone on a trip.” Taizen got out of his stance and Shadow walked in. “Alright, I think you two have made introductions. It’s about time to eat.” A few people rushed into the kitchen. While inside the kitchen, Shadow stood on top of the table. “Okay, we have a problem. Before we can go and start battles with other guilds, we need to get some weapons.” Everyone looked at the guy next to him. “Well, any volunteers?” he asked them all. Two people stood up. “I’ll do it,” Taizen said first. Since he was a cyborg, he had some experience dealing with technology. The other guy also said he would. “Yeah, it shouldn’t be so hard,” he said. “Wait, who are you?” Taizen asked him. “My name’s Snooky.” “Oh, alright then. I’ll go start now to see how it turns out.” Taizen finished his ramen and ran out of the kitchen. “I guess I will too. “ Snooky also left out. Both went scavenging to old weapons. “Well,” Shadow finally spoke up, “Now that’s out of the way, when they finish we’ll…” A knock was heard at the door. Shadow hopped off of the table and answered it. “Hello?” Naru was at the door. “Hey Shadow,” he said. “Look, I’m making my own guild. I wanted to know if you could spare a few members?” Shadow had a confused look, “What about FW?” “I just want to see if I can make it on my own,” he replied. “Eh, I guess so. “ Shadow turned around. “Anyone want to help?” A few people raised their hand. “Alright, you’ve got yourself a crew. Hope you do well Naru.” Naru smiled and everyone walked out with him.

After a few days, Naru came back over. “I’m taking on this guild by myself.” Shadow looked up. “You’re crazy man. Unless it’s some unknown guild.” Naru grinned. “It’s a division of UKE.” Shadow was startled, but settled down. “What, you’re not serious…” “I am. We fight at noon today. I got tickets for you guys.” Naru handed Shadow some tickets and he looked at them for a bit. “Wow, we’ll be there.” Naru walked out and Taizen walked in. “Okay, I finished this one.” He was holding up a sword that had been modified a bit. Shadow took it up and swung it. It made a vibrating noise. “Looks good Taizen. Mind going around telling everyone to meet at the Village tournament stage?” “Sure.” Taizen ran out and Shadow sat down. He was worried Naru would be in over his head.

A few hours later, everyone was at the coliseum. At the betting booth, everyone placed their bets on UKE. Lee sat up and talked a bit, “Shadow you think he’s got a chance?” Shadow shrugged, “I don’t know. Chances are looking slim though…” Everyone quieted down as Naru stepped out onto the stage. A man with a large mace stepped out on the field. “So kid, where’s the rest of your guild?” “I’m the only one here,” Naru replied. Everyone on UKE”s side began laughing. “Fight!” The proctor announced before stepping out of the ring. “Look kid, I don’t want to hu…” He was cut off as Naru slid in and elbowed him in the gut. He followed it up with a kick, knocking him in the air. Naru used impressive speed and leaped in the air behind him, kicking him to knock him down. The guy was out. “Who’s next.” A fat guy came up and walked up to Naru. “Ah, hey tubby.” Naru told him. A vein began showing itself on the guy’s head. He swung down to hit Naru before the proctor signaled for the beginning of the fight. Naru backed away from it easily and hopped on his arm. He ran up and kicked him in the face. The man smirked and knocked Naru away, making him fly to the edge of the ring. “Damn,” he told himself, “This guy is too fat for my attacks to get through. Well, time for my favorite jutsu.” Naru made a hand signal, creating 6 shadow clones. They all rushed at the man with crazy speed, knocking him in the air. Each one came and hit him further in the air. The real Naru jumped below the fat man, and a blue ball of chakra began swirling in his hand. Everyone watched in amazement. Lee and Shadow weren’t so surprised. Naru used rasengan on the guy’s back, making him fly into the air. It was a few minutes before he finally came back down. He landed with a large thud.

The others all jumped on the stage to attack Naru at once. Naru made a hand signal and his eyes turned red with slit pupils. The match was over in a few moments. Everyone was just staring at the field. “Well,” Shadow said as he stood up, “Naru is much stronger than we thought.” “Yeah I guess,” Lee said as he stood up and walked out after him. They had become rich due to the bets placed on Naru. Back at the base, Naru came over. “Hey, did you see my fight?” “Yeah we did,” Shadow replied. “You’re better than I thought.” “Heh, shows you. This is the rise of the Kyuubi Demons!” “Wait, why call it that anyway?” “Oh, because the Kyuubi played a big part in my family’s history. It’s strong, so that’s why.” Shadow shrugged and walked into the base. Naru did the same. They had no idea of the events that were about to unfold.

BATTLE 4: Coup de Tat

Now J, the leader of FW, had been gone for a while. The other three leaders had taken this into consideration and decided to take it over in order to have a leader that will always be there. “Okay,” Alch talked to the group in the clan meeting point, “J is coming back tomorrow. We need to plan this out. Any ideas?” DD raised his arm. “We attack from behind. All I have to do is control him before he can avoid any of the attacks.” “Sounds good,” Cloud said, “Nice and quick.” Alch stood up, “Then it’s settled. Wait until dawn.” They dispersed, heading to their own rooms. Alch walked to the front and waited for J.

J came home whistling. “Finally back home. I need some food.” He opened the door, still whistling. As he was walking in, he began to grow wary of the eerie silence. “Man, what’s up here?” He walked toward the kitchen, but he was unable to move on of his legs. “Huh?” he asked himself. Cloud and Alch both jumped out making hand signals. “Guys what’s going on?” Cloud pointed his finger out, “Raito Jashu”. A lightning bolt was created and surged towards J. Alch placed his hand on the ground and created spikes of earth that rushed towards J. J looked up and in a flash, all of the attacks were stopped. He began to move forward again. “I don’t know what you were doing,” J told them all angrily, “but this joke ain’t funny.” “It’s not a joke, J,” DD said as he jumped down to join Alch and Cloud. “We’re taking over this clan. You aren’t a very good leader, being gone for months at a time.” They all took fighting stance. “Prepare to go down J!” Cloud yelled.

Cloud ran forward while making hand signs. DD stood in the back and took out his puppet, attacking from a distance. Alch was there to defend the both of them. Cloud finished his hand signs and released a lightning dragon from his mouth. DD shot balls of poison at him. J closed his eyes, and when he opened them, a special design formed on them. The lightning dragon swirled around him and headed back to Cloud, but not before knocking away those balls of poison. Cloud avoided it and Alch created a spear out of the earth. DD had his puppet make demon-wind shuriken come on to the arms and begin spinning like saw-blades. They rushed forward at J, but J made a hand sign. A large gust of wind came and blew them all away. “You really thought you could defeat me?” J told them as he walked forward. “You full well know my powers. You can’t defeat me.” He stared at them with multiple rings in his eyes. “Damn Rinnengan…” Cloud said silently.

They were out matched. J raised his hand and said, “Elemental Burst: Fire Storm.” Flames began raining down on the three. Alch created a dome of earth to protect them, but it didn’t hold for long. The flames soon burst through the dome, pelting the three with flames. J moved to deal the finishing move, but his arm stopped moving. “Not so fast…” DD stepped out of the rubble. “You can’t think that would put us down, do you?” A lightning bolt shot out from the rubble, piercing J through his chest. Then more spikes rose from the ground and held him up. “Sorry J, but this is it.” Cloud told him. “Yes, it is.” J was standing outside of building now. Everyone whipped around to see him standing there. “If my own guild that I created is now rebelling, I’d better put it down. Permanently.” He made hand signals and a ball of elemental chakra formed in his hand. J threw it inside and walked away. The ball exploded, destroying the entire base. Only rubble was left.

“Ah, I better go see how everyone is doing,” Shadow said as he walked down to FW’s base. “It’s been a while since I’ve seen them. Wonder how they’re doing?” He came over the tall hills to find that the base had been completely leveled. “Wha…” Shadow ran down as quickly as he could. He began moving the rocks away to see if he could find anyone. He uncovered the rubble to find only DD. Cloud and Alch were no where to be seen. “DD, are you alright?” Shadow exclaimed. DD opened his eyes. “Yeah… I’m fine. Where are Cloud and Alch?” “I don’t know, I couldn’t find them. What happened here?” “Long story, I’ll tell you later.” Shadow helped him up and brought him back to the SA base. FW had just been decimated.

Ooh, good point. I forgot about that. O:

Still, I wonder why Itachi would want Naruto to be able to beat Sasuke. Maybe he just wants his brother to live a non-hateful life?

---------------------------BATTLE 12: Hopeless---------------------------

At this moment, SAE were all searching through the city for the leader of the creatures that attacked. “So what kind of person should we be looking for?” Tadashi asked Shadow. “Hold on,” he replied, ”I’m looking for someone with mixed chakra around here. This guy has been absorbing the power of the demons right? Well he has to have at least four different chakras swirling inside of him, including his own.” Shadow began looking around with his Sharingan. He then looked towards the area with the four tailed demon, seeing multiple chakras there. “That must be it!” he yelled. Shadow, Tadashi, and Naru rushed over to that area. The rest of the clan was behind taking out the monsters on the ground.

Kazuo had just now taken the power of the 4-tailed demon, and was on his way out. “Well, only 5 more.” While he was walking out, the door way collapsed. “Huh?” he pondered to himself as he looked up as to why the door fell. “I’m sure I didn’t hit that while taking care of the guards…” The trio leaped through the now open ceiling, landing a few meters behind Kazuo. Naru looked up. “ Is that the guy?” he asked. “It is,” Shadow told him. “Oh, and who might you three be?” Kazuo questioned them. “We’re from the guild SAE. I don’t know why you’re taking the power of the demons, but we can’t allow you to continue,” Tadashi told him. “Not like talking makes a bit of difference,” Kazuo replied. Tadashi smiled, “I guess you’re right.” Tadashi dashed forward, grabbing his sword as he did. He swung at Kazuo’s chest and it was blocked by Kazuo’s arm. The arm looked like one of the creatures, but much harder and in more of a shield form. “What?” Kazuo changed the form of his arm into a club and knocked Tadashi back to the others. “Remember, he has the powers of the first four tailed beasts…” Shadow warned them. “That’s right young Uchiha,” Kazuo told him. Shadow looked up surprised, “How did you know that?” “You could tell who I was and how many demons I had absorbed. Only an Uchiha or Hyuuga could do that. You don’t seem to have white eyes either.” Shadow sucked his teeth and then began making hand signals. He then released a large fireball from his mouth. Naru backed up and created four shadow clones. “If he has the powers of the first four tailed beasts… Shit!!” Naru leaped forward above the flames. He then created a Rasengan and leaped into the flames where Kazuo was. The rasengan hit a wall of sand. “I knew it…” he muttered to himself. He leaped away from him. Kazuo arose from the flames without a scratch.

“How the hell are we supposed to beat this guy?” Tadashi asked them. “Just pound.” Shadow said. Shadow then rushed forward and disappeared in a cloud of smoke. The next time everyone saw him, he was behind Kazuo with his sword in hand. Tadashi took that time and charged chakra into his sword. Naru began making another Rasengan. Once Shadow moved forward to stab Kazuo in his back, he caught it and picked Shadow up along with it. At that instant, Tadashi released a wave of condensed chakra at Kazuo, and Naruto threw his Rasengan along with it to make them combine into a large spiraling Rasengan. The sand moved to block it, but was easily torn apart and continued to move forward. Kazuo began laughing uncontrollably and hit the rasengan in its center with a windblast. The entire jutsu dispersed. “There’s no way!” Tadashi yelled. Kazuo then looked back at Shadow and his eyes turned to a dark purple. His left was dark, while he was right was light. Shadow just fell down, in a trance. “The two tails’ power is amazing!” “What did he do?” Naru asked aloud. Shadow then stood up and looked at the two of them. “Enemies. Those who oppose Kazuo-sama will be annihilated.” “What?” Naru said right before he was slammed to the ground. Kazuo did the same to Tadashi, only knocking him to a wall on the other side of the room. He then turned back to Naru. “You are a descendant of the Nine-tailed Jinchuuriki, correct? You’ll be a problem, since you know how to seal the Nine-tailed demon.” He then made hand signals and placed his hand on Naru’s head. Naru’s eyes dialated before he disappeared in a cloud of smoke and trapped inside a scroll. “I’ll just keep you with me. The Nine tails has extreme chakra, I’ll need you incase it gets out of hand.” He stuffed the scroll in his pocket then commanded Shadow to take out Tadashi. “Yes sir,” Shadow replied as he began walking over to where Tadashi was. Tadashi rose up from the rubble to see Shadow walking towards him and Naru gone. “This… is not the best situation ever.” He got up and took his sword as he prepared to fight his clan leader.

----------------------BATTLE 13: Leader----------------------

Tadashi slowly backed up as Shadow drew closer. “Shadow, come on, snap out of it!” Shadow ignored him and rushed forward, slicing horizontally towards Tadashi. Their swords collided, creating a small shockwave between them. Shadow pulled his sword back and turned, kicking Tadashi into the wall behind him. Shadow made hand signals and used the fireball jutsu to release a large fireball at the now recovering Tadashi. Tadashi narrowly avoided by kicking off to the side. Shadow was already there, as he read his moves. He grabbed Tadashi’s face and slammed it to the ground. He then took his sword and stabbed Tadashi in the back. “Something about that was too easy,” Shadow told himself. The Tadashi on the ground turned into a cloud. “Replacement.” Tadashi came from the side of Shadow, stabbing at him and narrowly missing. Shadow leaped over and looked at Tadashi. “Since it looks like that you won’t be waking from that trance any time soon, I’d better take you down right now.” Tadashi’s chakra began focusing into his sword and his eyes glowed. Shadow looked at the sword with his sharingan, and prepared to leap out of the way. Tadashi made a vertical slash at Shadow, releasing a large, condensed wave of chakra at him. Shadow moved to the right, dodging the attack. A large line was left in the floor after the attack. Shadow began making hand signals to attack, but Tadashi released another, smaller wave to stop him. Shadow stopped and ducked to avoid it. Tadashi made a quick step in to cut Shadow’s leg, but Shadow looked him in the eyes. Tadashi then went on to cut Shadow’s leg, having him fall. Tadashi knocked him back up and cut his arm, making Shadow stagger back. “This is a bit easy, but who cares?” Tadashi continued to attack Shadow.

“This guy hasn’t figured out he’s in a genjutsu yet.” Shadow said while watching Tadashi swing forward at air. “Well, I’ll finish this and head back to Kazuo-sama.” Shadow raised his sword to kill Tadashi, but his sword was knocked out his hand. He was knocked back as a black shadow landed next to Tadashi and yelled “Kai.” Tadashi woke up from the genjutsu and turned to see Shadow unscathed. “What? I was just knocking him around like cake…” The shadow looked at him and revealed he to be Taizen. “It’s called genjutsu, dumbass.” Taizen looked up at Shadow. “It looks like he’s being controlled by someone as well.” “Yeah, the leader of all these events is causing it.” Taizen sighed, “That figures, though I don’t understand how Shadow is being controlled.” Shadow continued to look at them with his eyes glowing red. “Well, I’ll try and take him out.” Tadashi grabbed Taizen’s shoulder. “Dude, you won’t win.” “Well, I can still try.” Taizen lifted his right arm, having it turn into a blade of lightning from the elbow down. He rushed at Shadow, slashing horizontally at him. He then continued to deliver blows as Shadow blocked them. Shadow made a quick hand signal and blasted the space between the two, creating a distance. “I know that you’re a close range fighter, Taizen. You won’t have the chance to use your techniques on me.” Taizen just smiled. Shadow made a hand sign, creating a fire whip. He whipped it forward, grabbing Taizen’s leg and slinging him in the air. He then brought it down; Taizen put his hand out and stopped his head from hitting the ground, and then cut the whip. “Come on, you’ve got to do better than that,” Taizen told Shadow mockingly. Shadow grimaced and closed the gap between the two in less than a second. He attempted to cut Taizen’s head off, but Taizen moved his hand up to block it with ease. Taizen grabbed his sword and charged his right arm with electricity. Before he could hit him, Shadow grabbed Taizen’s chest and blasted him towards the wall. “Crap.”

“So what was that about being able to beat him?” Tadashi asked Taizen. “Shut up. We’ll have to tag team if we want to win.” Shadow picked his sword up from off the ground, while Taizen and Tadashi both prepared for the on coming attack. Taizen took a step backward and Tadashi charged forward, engaging Shadow with his sword. Taizen’s right arm turned into a cannon, in which he began charging full of electricity. Tadashi and Shadow were going back and forth, evenly matched. They went on clashing swords until Shadow finally knocked the sword out of Tadashi’s hand. Both were panting at that moment, Shadow raised his sword slowly. “Now, this is the end Tadashi.” A bright yellow arrived on the side of Shadow. He looked over to see Taizen holding the fully charged cannon on the righ of him. “Sorry Shadow.” Taizen said regrettingly. He then fired the blast, engulfing Shadow completely.

----------------------BATTLE 14: Retaliation----------------------

Taizen lowered his arm and transformed it back into a hand. Tadashi looked at the spot Shadow once was, now seeing only a line reaching to the back wall. He looked back up at Taizen, “What the hell did you do that for?”, he said with his voice shaking with anger. “Easy,” Taizen replied, “I’m sure Shadow had enough time to nullify the damage before getting hit.” As if on cue, Shadow came staggering out of the wall. He dropped soon afterwards. “I knew he could block some of the damage, keeping it from being fatal, with his wind chakra.” Tadashi breathed a sigh of relief, “That was still dangerous.” They picked Shadow up and walked out of the destroyed room.

The others were all in the clan base, which had taken some serious damage. “So what happened to Shadow?” Lee asked Tadashi and Taizen. “Long story short, he got brainwashed, we fought, and then knocked him out.” The two brought Shadow over to a couch and dropped on top of it. “He just has to recover,” Taizen told them. “We found the guy behind this mess and he captured Naru,” Tadashi informed them. “He also has the abilities of the tailed beasts he has stolen so far. He’s very formidable.” Everyone looked up. “So does anyone have a game plan? We have to stop him before he reaches the Kyuubi.” They all sat out and began thinking of ways to get through to Kazuo while Kazuo captured the eight-tailed beast.

The next day, they prepared to head out. “Now,” DD said aloud from in front of them, “We have to take him out quickly. I’m sure that he is on his way to the Kyuubi right now.” They all nodded and rushed away, heading straight for the containment area of the Kyuubi. They all arrived at the scene, in which Kazuo was already past the guards. “Shit!” Taizen yelled before rushing in. “Taizen, wait!” DD called after him. Taizen stood in front of Kazuo, who hadn’t finished absorbing the Kyuubi yet. “Huh… So who are you?” Kazuo said with an annoyed voice. Taizen said nothing and quickly made handsignals, placing his hand on the ground and having an electric current flow out towards Kazuo. With Kazuo absorbing the Kyuubi’s power, he couldn’t fight back. The electric current held Kazuo in place as Taizen raised his left arm. From the top of it, a gun rose up and began shooting shuriken at Kazuo. He raised his other and began shooting lightning bullets. After finishing, a cloud of smoke covered Kazuo. Taizen lowered his arms and retracted both guns. “”That was a bit close.” Taizen whipped his head around to see Kazuo smiling sinisterly next to him. Taizen attempted to jump back, but was impaled through the stomach with a sand spike. “Well, Ill probably have to take out the rest of your friends before finishing…” Tadashi arrived to see Taizen lying on the floor with the spike still through his stomach, in a puddle of blood. Taizen coughed up blood, and Tadashi began charging his sword immediately. “So you were still alive sword boy?” Kazuo said jokingly. “Argh!” Tadashi released a large blue wave from his sword, directed at Kazuo. He raised his hand and caught the wave, deflecting it. This allowed Tadashi enough time to get Taizen away from Kazuo. Kazuo began making hand signals and blew out an extremely large flame. “Reinforced with wind chakra… crap.”

A shot pierced through the flame, blowing it to the sides. DD’s white puppet landed next to Tadashi and Taizen, while his black one rushed forward and began attacking Kazuo. DD walked up from behind them. “Tadashi, you have to go fight. Hinata will heal Taizen and I’ll protect them with Kuzamebaishi (white puppet’s name).” Tadashi shook his head and also began attacking Kazuo again. The rest of the clan joined in as well. It seemed like everything was done, like they were going to win.

But, in a around 30 minutes, they were all either injured or unconscious. “What the hell…” Lee rose slowly and said. Tadashi was barely standing, and DD was the only one that seemed like he could keep going for a little longer. Taizen was still knocked out from the previous blow, still bleeding. Hinata had been attacked and was knocked out as well. “So, I guess normal people can’t defeat the tailed beasts together,” Tadashi smirked a bit. Kazuo was finishing absorbing the Kyuubi. He finished soon. “This… power is great!” Kazuo howled at the ceiling and effectively obliterated it. “No one can stop me now!” Right after he said that, a kunai cut off the scroll that contained Naru. Some wires then retrieved it. “So, it seems everyone’s been put down.” Shadow stepped out. “Thanks for the nap guys.” He opened the scroll and bit his finger. He wiped it across the scroll, summoning Naru. “Finally! It was horrible inside that thing.” “Well, it seems we’ve got a job to do, huh?” Naru asked Shadow. “Definitely. Lets start.”

----------------------BATTLE 15: The End of the Battle----------------------

Naru and Shadow both walked away from each other and looked at Kazuo. “Do you really think you can beat me, now? You couldn’t even touch me when you had your friend over there.” Kazuo pointed over to Tadashi, who was on his knee. “Well, this is our second chance. This time, I have Naru. We’ll see who loses this.” Shadow said, before making hand signals. He blew a large fireball at Kazuo. Kazuo raised his hand to create a shield, but the fireball became a firestorm after Naru created a tornado around him. The fire tornado engulfed Kazuo. “Be on guard, I’m sure he’s not done.” Naru told Shadow. “How correct you are,” Kazuo said from behind the two of them. He knocked Naru forward and had him flip into a wall. Shadow quickly drew his sword and collided with Kazuo’s sand. “Subaku no Gaara had this same ability. I already know how to defeat it.” Shadow used his speed to get around the sand before it noticed where he was. Once Shadow was inside the sand, he landed and made a ball of fire in his hand. The ball was glowing on the inside. “Katon: Great Kotetsu” The ball collided with Kazuo and engulfed him, launching to the other side of the room. Naru came and created a large rasengan with white color and chakra that seemed to be leaking. The ball hit were Kazuo was and imploded, leaving a large, perfectly round, crater.

“Hmm, I wonder if that’s it.” Shadow pondered to Naru aloud. “I don’t know, but that was our strongest combo.” Naru replied. Behind the smoke, Kazuo rose from the ashes of where he had been attacked. “You know, I would be dead if not for the Kyuubi’s Abilities.” Kazuo began laughing manically, as he began to heal himself. “There’s nothing you can do to stop me.” A large arm with the markings of the previous monsters they fought grabbed Shadow and reached for Naru. “Not on my watch,” he said right before avoiding the arm. The large arm then sprouted multiple smaller ones. Naru took out a kunai and began cutting the arms off. “There won’t be an end to this unless we take some of the power.” Naru began making his way to Kazuo making hand signals. He clapped his hands together and a figure appeared behind him. Shadow looked down to see what he was doing. “That looks like the Demon Sealing Technique…” Naru grabbed Kazuo, and then the figure grabbed Kazuo, holding him there. “What the hell is this?” “It’s a sealing technique. Say good bye to your Biju powers.”

An electric like current wrapped around them and then both of them began screaming in pain. The powers of the Tailed Beasts were being forcibly sucked out of him into Naru’s body. “You idiot! Your body won’t be able to handle this!” Kazuo yelled at Naru. “Well, better then letting u have them.” After a little bit, Naru let go and fell backward. He had acquired the Tailed Beasts’ chakra, and now Kazuo was left with nothing. “No… no!” Shadow leaped down from above. “Yes, yes.” He hit Kazuo with a powered down version of Great Kotetsu, knocking him back and out. Shadow turned around and helped Naru to his feet. The threat was gone, but little did they know, a larger problem was on the way.

----------------------BATTLE 16: Corruption----------------------

A few weeks have passed since the Kazuo incident. The cities that were attacked are now well on their way to full recovery. Naru was returning the tailed beasts’ chakras back to their bodies. “Man, I had no idea that it would take that much out of me,” Naru said jokingly. “Well of course it did,” Shadow told him back, “You absorbed all of the tailed beasts’ chakra. I’m surprised you didn’t die, idiot.” Naru turned to look at him. “Who are you calling an idiot?” “You, there’s no one else around.” The two began fussing until they arrived at the nine tails’s room. “Well, Time to return the rest of this, then life can return to normal.” Naru said. “If you could call our lives normal.” Shadow laughed. Naru began transferring the chakra back to the Kyuubi. It went smoothly. “Now, time to head home!” Naru yelled before running off. “Wait up!” Shadow followed after him.

Back at the base, the two walked in and Shadow went to Taizen’s room. Taizen was hooked up to a large machine, in which there was a tube he stood in. He was still sleeping. “Is he going to be alright?” Shadow turned to DD. “Yeah, luckily, his body’s cells had been modified to where he heals three times as fast as a normal human. He would be dead if not for that.” Shadow turned back to Taizen. “I wonder what you put yourself through before you came here.” Taizen had never spoken of his past, and never planned to. Shadow walked out the main room. Tadashi and Lee were playing Halo 3. “Man, you suck.” Lee told Tadashi. “Shut up old man.” Tadashi told him back as he ran over Lee with a truck on the game. “Shouldn’t you guys be doing the work assigned to you?” Shadow came up behind them and said. “We’ll get to it. Definitely before the deadline.” Lee said. Shadow sighed and walked up to his room. It was already late, so he went to bed.

In his own room, Naru slept in a fever. He was having a nightmare, but not an ordinary one, a vision. In his dream, Naru stood above his comrades, all of them massacred. He looked down to find himself covered in blood. When he turned around, he saw a reflection of himself in the mirror. However, what he saw wasn’t his normal face, it was only partly his. The right side of him was distorted with the image of a black kyuubi laughing. It told him he killed his friends, and there was nothing he could do to stop it from happening. Naru woke up with a loud yell. He quickly ran to his own mirror to see that everything was still normal.

The next day, Naru set out on his own mission to capture some thieves. “Peace. I’ll be back in a few hours,” he said before running out. Shadow looked worried. “Shadow,” DD talked to him, “Is something wrong?” “Last night, Naru’s mirror broke and I heard him yell. I’m hoping nothing happens.” “Hmm, well I’m sure he can handle whatever it is. I have to check Taizen’s system one more time.” DD walked out of the room, leaving Shadow alone.

Naru easily captured the thieves. “Looks like I’ll be home early.” However, one of the thieves escaped and attacked Naru. Naru was completely off guard and suddenly blacked out. When he came to his senses, his arm was protruding through the thief’s chest. “Ah… ah!” He quickly pulled back his arm and ran to the river to wash him off. When he looked at his reflection, he once again saw the black Kyuubi distortion. Naru punched the river, making the image dissipate. He turned and brought the remaining thieves back to prison.

Once Naru came home, his face was distraught. He had no idea of what was happening to him. It was almost midnight, so everyone was either out or sleeping. He walked into the room Taizen was located in. Taizen, still sleeping, had no idea. Naru looked up and his eyes became black with red eyes and slits for pupils. He slowly drew his hand back, as if to strike. His arm became covered in a jet-black aura, forming a hand with edges sharpened to that of swords. His mouth opened and created a wicked smile, reaching almost from ear to ear. He stepped forward and proceeded to blow through the tank, including the person inside it.

----------------------BATTLE 17: Family Problems----------------------

Before Naru could finish his strike, Hinata walked in on him. Naru instantly changed back to his normal self. “Naru, what are you doing in here?” Naru looked back at her. “I’m just checking up on Taizen. It’s about time for me to sleep though, good night.” Naru walked out of the room, passing Hinata by. She shivered right after he had past. “What was that?” Hinata slowly looked back over to Taizen, who had slept through the whole thing. She then turned and walked out herself.

The next day, the aggression began to show itself in the normal Naru. He began seeking more and more power, even though he was in the highest position in the clan. “Guys,” Hinata told DD and Tadashi, “Naru’s becoming a real pain. He’s not like he used to be.” “I can tell,” Tadashi said back. “It seems like he thinks no one is treating him with respect.” “Well, he hasn’t done anything too serious yet. We might just need to talk to him.” DD told them. They all walked to the middle of the base to see Naru at the top, sitting in Shadow’s chair. “Naru, what are you doing up there?” DD asked him. “Just taking the seat where I should be.” DD stayed silent for a moment, and then spoke again. “I think we need to talk about your recent pattern of aggression.” Naru looked up to the ceiling. “There’s nothing to talk about. I’m only reinforcing my position.” DD sighed. “Come on Naru,” Tadashi spoke up, “Everyone is beginning to think you’re a jerk. We don’t think of you as less than a leader.” “Where’s Shadow when you need him.” Hinata said silently. Naru looked down and yelled “We don’t need Shadow here, I’m taking care of things just fine.” “No, I…” “Why must you all think I’m so incompetent?” “We don’t!” Hinata yelled. Naru jumped down in front of her and grabbed her arm. “I’m tired of the lies.” He said that right before punching her and knocking her into a wall. His right eye was beginning to become covered in black. Almost instantly, Tadashi had his sword to Naru’s neck and DD had both his puppets on either side of Naru. “I don’t care how long we’ve been friends, that crossing the line,” Tadashi said angrily. DD said nothing, but anyone could feel the killing intent he was releasing around him at that moment.

“So you think you can take me on? That’s nice.” Naru backed away from the two quickly. “Hopefully you don’t die in the process.” Tadashi charged forward, DD sent his puppet forward for support. The white puppet stayed in the back and opened its hands, revealing two holes. It pointed its hands at Naru and released a condensed water blast at Naru. Tadashi and the black puppet maneuvered to both sides of Naru, while the water blast came at him from the center. Naru dodged to the side, right into Tadashi. Tadashi back handed Naru with his left fist and followed it with a slash from his sword. Naru hit the ground, but pushed himself up before Tadashi could finish it. The black puppet, that had been still running towards him, dropped it’s hand down, revealing a large hole in it. Intense flames shot out at mid range. Naru made a hand signal and created a shadow clone to pull him out of the way. The clone tossed him directly towards DD. Naru punched at him, but a barrier created by the white puppet stopped him. Naru raised his hand and created a Rasengan, hitting the barrier. It easily broke through, allowing him to come face to face with DD. “So, you guys were really trying to kill me huh?” Naru asked him. “You’re becoming a threat. I don’t know what’s wrong with you, but if you would harm your own teammates so easily, you’ve got to be eliminated.” Naru laughed before hitting DD in the chest. Shortly after, a beam of blue light appeared on the other side of him. DD coughed up blood, before falling down. There wasn’t a hole in his body.

Tadashi ran forward to finish the job. He began charging his sword, increasing its piercing power to high levels. He swung horizontally at Naru, but Naru ducked and the sword only sliced through the wall. Naru kicked Tadashi backwards, quickly following it up with two thrown kunai. Tadashi stopped and deflected the kunai. “You’ll have to do better than that.” Naru laughed, “I already did.” A shadow clone came from behind and kicked the back of Tadashi’s head, sending him falling forward and knocking him unconscious. Naru picked him up and created a rasengan in his hand. “Now I wonder what would happen if I hit him in the face with this?” He smiled and began to move his arm backwards. Once he did, a lightning line went straight through it and wrapped around his arm. “What now?” The person holding the line was a very sleepy Taizen. “Uh, I don’t know what’s going on,” Taizen said as he yawned, attempting to gain his senses, “but you’re obviously messed up now Naru.” “So now, even you want to take me on? When will you guys get it? No one here can beat me.” Taizen looked at Naru eerily and then vanished, backhand fisting him in the face. “I really doubt that.” Naru’s eyes were black now, still with the original color of blue. Taizen looked at him as a ring appeared around his pupil, along with cross hairs. His eye turned green as well. Through his vision, he saw Naru and locked on to him. “Now, I’m sure I can take whatever you throw at me.” Taizen said as he got in a stance.
